For this project, I searched for a product that I thought could use a serious overhaul in its design. That product turned out to be AIM Toothpaste. From the very beginning I could tell I had a lot of work on my hands. The design had way too many colors, graphics, and information crowded onto a small toothpaste box. By limiting the information to what was necessary and reducing the color palette to pale mint colors and yellows (to attract attention to the fact that it had 30% more) I was able to give AIM a much more appealing look.
My inspiration was a camera lens. I thought that this would be fitting for toothpaste because you always smile for a camera, and AIM can help you achieve your brightest smile.
